NRIs can have a property in India reviewed online. Plans, photographs and a location pin are enough for most flats and floor plans, and a video call can be fixed at a time that suits your time zone.
What to send
- The floor plan or site plan, with dimensions and a north marker
- The project name, unit number and floor for apartments
- A location pin and photographs, or a short video taken by a relative or agent
- The two or three options you are comparing
How it works

- Share the plans and photographs
- We review them before the call
- A video call covers the findings and questions, followed by a written summary
When someone should visit the site
For plots and larger purchases, slope and surroundings matter. A local representative can take photographs, or a site visit can be considered, depending on location and scheduling.
