A Vastu consultation helps you read a property against traditional principles. It does not verify ownership, approvals, structural safety or investment value. Each of those needs the right professional.
Legal and title checks
A property lawyer should verify title, encumbrances, land use and the sale agreement. For new apartments, check the project's registration on your state's RERA portal. Vastu has no bearing on these.
Approvals and building rules
Sanctioned plans, setbacks, floor area limits and occupancy certificates are set by the local authority. Any recommendation from a Vastu review must work within them.
Structure and safety
- Structural design and changes need a licensed structural engineer
- Fire exits, staircases and electrical work follow safety norms
- Soil and foundation questions need a geotechnical assessment
Financial and investment advice
A Vastu review does not predict price appreciation, rental yield or business performance. Property investment decisions should rest on location, price, builder record and your finances.
How the checks fit together
- Shortlist properties on price, location and need.
- Run a Vastu review on the shortlist.
- Have a lawyer check title and approvals on the one you prefer.
- Have an architect or engineer confirm any planned changes.
- Decide with all of these in front of you.
