A Vastu review of a business space reads the premises against traditional Vastu principles, alongside how customers, staff and goods actually move through it. It differs from a home review because the layout is driven by seating, counters, storage and customer flow.
What is reviewed
- Orientation of the premises and the position of the main entrance
- Placement of the owner's seat or cabin, reception and customer area
- Billing or cash counter, storage and, for restaurants, the kitchen
- For clinics, the position of the consulting room, waiting area and treatment spaces
- Which observations are minor and which are worth acting on
Before you lease, and after you have opened
The most useful moment is before you sign a lease or begin the fit-out, when you can choose between units and shape the layout on paper. For a space already running, the review focuses on seating, counters and storage that can change without disturbing business, and phases anything larger.
What to prepare
- The floor plan, or a sketch with the direction of north marked
- Photographs of the entrance, the counter or reception and each room
- The seating plan, and for a restaurant the kitchen layout
- The address or location pin, and the options you are comparing
- The date you must decide or open by
Online or on-site
A plan and photographs support a useful first review online. A visit adds detail on the entrance, the surroundings and how the space is used, and depends on location and scheduling.
What a review does not replace
- Lease, title and licence checks, which a lawyer should handle
- Fire, structural and health-and-safety requirements, which need licensed professionals
- Business, financial or sales forecasts, which no Vastu review can promise
Vastu is a traditional discipline. A review offers guidance within that tradition and does not promise any business outcome.
